The Longtey Hike is a popular and Adventures Day Hike in Gangtey that takes you through pristine forests of Rhododendron, lush green valleys, and picturesque mountain trails. Drive until Longtey, over  Pele La Pass, and start your hike from Longtey Village.

Trail starts with an uphill climb under dense forests above Longtey for about an hour and a half to Kache La Pass 3700m. Then descends into the open valley of Phobjikha from Kumbu village towards the Buddhist university,  which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and 360 View of Gangtey and Phobjikha Valley.
